What services do you offer for lawn care?
My lawn looks good and the bugs and spiders are gone, do I still need your service?
Yes! Weeds, insects, spiders etc. are pests. If pests are not controlled they will come back. Ongoing service is important to maintain a beautiful lawn and a pest free home year after year. Your neighbors will appreciate it too since pests migrate!
How often should my lawn be mowed?
The frequency of mowing depends on your grass type and growth rate. Generally, you should mow your lawn once a week during the growing season, ensuring you never cut more than one-third of the grass height at a time. Cutting the lawn shorter during colder months is ok but during the warmer months put your mower settings to its highest setting. Your lawn will look better and hold the moisture better.
What is aeration and why is it important?
We recommend aerating once a year, usually in March. Aeration involves removing small plugs of soil to alleviate compaction and improve air, water, and nutrient penetration to the roots. It is crucial for promoting healthy root development and enhancing overall lawn health especially in the spring when your lawn is coming out of dormancy.
How can I prevent weeds from taking over my lawn?
A thick, tight lawn is a weed-free lawn! Your lawn needs regular maintenance, proper fertilization, and the use of pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides. Keeping your lawn healthy and thick helps prevent weed growth by reducing the space available for weeds to establish.
